How do you do? Allow me to introduce you to The Cloister Room episode 017, "Robots? Clones? Robot Clones?" On it, we have much to say about the third and fourth episodes of Big Finish's Eighth Doctor Adventures series, "The Horror of Glam Rock" and "Immortal Beloved." We then have some rather heated discussion about the last few episodes of Caprica. Next week, we'll be looking at the classic William Hartnell story "The Daleks," and the Peter Cushing film adaptation, "Dr. Who and the Daleks." We'll also talk about the news on some upcoming new television projects. Be sure to let us know what you think of the podcast, by commenting here on this post, leaving an @ reply for @TheCloisterRoom on Twitter, or by e-mail at thecloisterroom@gmail.com. Another fine show, guys. I enjoyed the Caprica wrap-up, although I've only seen the pilot movie. Somehow, based on your discussion as well as comments I've heard elsewhere, I feel not at all motivated to seek out the two seasons on DVD. The misdirect regarding "young Bill Adama"/Willie seems an especially egregious choice -- was Brannon Braga involved? Sounds like something he'd have written. The Big Finish recaps remain a highlight of the show. I've barely dipped my toes in the ocean of BF releases, but it's always a pleasure to hear your comments on them, whether I've heard the stories being discussed or not. I've just listened to the Companion Chronicles story "Peri and the Piscon Paradox" and found it remarkably entertaining. Hope you have the chance to listen to it in the near future and will share your review in an upcoming episode. Finally, I was rather chuffed to hear you mention the spam clean-up on the comments page. The fact that I was peripherally responsible for prodding Tom to remove the torrent of handbag ads is a point of pride for me. Thanks a bunch, Tom. I'm about to cue up my copy of "The Daleks" in anticipation of your next ep. Looking forward to watching some classic DW and hearing your comments later.
